Thanks. I think we're pretty much there now. Can we try one variation to #294, which is to have the metallic / chrome instead of the white as the fill-colour for the outer ring.
The logo against black background with the circle chrome.
the reason I use the light inner circle, because if the logo place against black background the logo still stand out (example business card, brochure with dark background etc).
Hi, thanks for the latest two designs. Overall, my preference is still this one: #286. The thicker horizon on the other two spoils the arc of curve.
The only changes to bring across from those latest logos are:
A. Putting the dot in the centre between the "W" and the "X".
B. Putting the dot on the same horizontal axis as the middle of the lettering. I.e. If a horizontal line was drawn through the centre of the lettering, the dot and the centre of the "X" would both be on that line.
In addition, could you make the size of the dot ever-so slightly smaller.
Thanks again for your designs. Hopefully we can finish this off today (Xmas Eve). If so, I will select the winning design.
Well done again on creating a great design. Could we use this final phase to explore a few variations of #286 as follows:
A. Extend the 'tail' of both ends of the blue horizon ever-so slightly.
B. Making the blue horizon ever-so slightly more bright and thick (but not by much).
C. Have the red dot and centre of the "X" be in the horizontal middle of all the lettering. That might already be the case, and it might be me not being able to see it with the naked-eye!
D. Thin the lettering of the word "Law" ever-so slightly.
With all of the above, it's just a case of tiny "micro" adjustments.
When issuing the updates, please just add a quick comment to say the changes.
Hi Comet120,
The difference is #286 more dramatic, bright in the middle, #285 using flat color, just for comparison.
If you want change anything, please let me know.
Thank you
Hi there, thanks for the updated designs. Could you update this version with the same blue horizon line as per #159 (also with the X and line touching). Many thanks again for all your great designs to date, and look forward to seeing an update to this one.
Hi Comet120, thank you for your feedback
These are the variations refer to your last message #272, #273, #274, #275, #276, #277

Hi, thanks for the latest designs, but I keep being drawn back to this one. Could you try this one with a brighter "Law" and also incorporate the thin metallic blue horizon used on earlier designs.

Hi - this is great. Love that white inner circle. Your definitely a finalists - congrats. I won't ask for any further iterations until then. Thanks again for listening to my comments and interpreting them with your own flair.

Hi, this is great thanks. Really like the blue horizon.
Could we try the following:
A. Remove the blue haze / glow above the blue horizon.
B. Try the red dot in the middle between the "Law" and the "X".
C. Experiment with the "X", so that it is clearer that it is to be read as an "X", rather than as a symbol. For example, extending the other line of the "X".
D. Rather than the background being entirely in-fill black, have the logo sitting in a circle that is in-filled black (i.e. all the rest of the space is left white). I think this might make it easier to work with in terms of an email footer and on the website. This would be the same as #131, but include the whole logo.
Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing some new designs.
1. Try a version that has no dot, but the "X" is made to stand out with ever-so slightly more extended lines and is coloured red.
2. Really like the idea of Law.X sitting just above a curved line representing the earth's horizon with the sun's rays breaking over it. This feels very futuristic and space-age. I have uploaded a jpeg to the Brief as an example...but would want it to be more subtle than that image.
3. Could we try a version where the word "Law" sits in a black-filled circle, with the red dot on the circumference and the "X" outside the circle (the area outside the circle is white-filled).
Thanks again for your designs, and I look forward to seeing some more.

Yes, that's it, but could you get the horizon tighter to the wording and brighten the horizon too (make it more striking). Thanks again.

It would now be good to experiment with some different logo designs using #166 as the core design. For example:
a. Play around with the inner circle colour. I am thinking blue or red could be good.
b. Brighten the word "Law" as it feels too dark.
c. Try making the "X" bigger than the word "Law".
d. Slightly thicken the lettering.
e. Experiment with a lighter shaded background instead of pure black.
f. Explore anything else you think could really work or look good.
I look forward to seeing more of your designs.

- use of chrome / steel.
- the distinctive "X" (so the pronunciation is clear as Law. X)
- futuristic lettering.
- like the idea of the target logo, but it's a bit too aggressive. Could it be more subtle? For example a red dot in the centre of the "x".
- could you try a version with a small amount of pixilation. Perhaps on one the letters or part of a letter.
- A period like this "Law.X" I like. The period could be used for the pixels too.
Thanks again for submitting a design.
