I chose chess pieces to tell your story. Chess shows strategy and foresight. The Queen (Highest Ranked) is out in front. This tells your clients you are ahead of the competition. Lastly the pieces give a subtle reference to a "W"...I like to have subtle references in a design that the customer can connect with.
I'm not sure that I like this. The concept of chess doesn't appeal to me and doesn't project the image I'm looking for. To me, it seems ultra conservative, and that's not what I want to project. It's different and it looks nice, but for me it doesn't project the right image or feel.
Designs 4, 5 & 6 are different than the chess piece designs. Of the 3, I like 5 &6 the best and probably like 5 better. I like the style of the design. It seems to me to be a brighter, more modern design--a fresher image, etc..... Although #4 has a classic feel to it and maybe more substance? Not sure if this is really for me. In terms of color (not that I'm an expert) I like blue and yellow/gold? in combination the best. Is there any way to make better use of the word Law? While I love my name (who doesn't love their name?) the name alone doesn't say what I do--whereas the word Law tells more about me in 1 word than my actual name. Not sure if this makes sense...... Thanks. Keep the ideas coming!
I really love the designs you've come up with. The use of colors is absolutely great--it has such a fresh/bright feel to it and I like that. I love the style of the W in # 5 & #6. How do you think the logo would look with gold instead of green? I'm pasting my comment from earlier: I came across a design by DesignLab for Law Offices of Aaron Hudson (design #38, ranked 13th by client) that kind of appeals to me. Please check it out. I like the scale, I like the sweeping arc underneath the scale, etc.... Perhaps that type of concept could be merged with designs 5 & 6 of Tilly Design? Not sure, but I'd like to see something like that. Design #17 by Nong has the perfect blue color in the logo--that's the kind of blue that I'd like to see in the design. My current promotional materials has similar blue with gold for scales. Re: letters in Tilly Design #5 & 6, how would it look with gold, instead of the green? Let me know what you think and thanks! It's really exciting to see these different looks!
The additional designs are really magnificient, especially #23, which as you can see I've ranked #1. It really has a fresh, dynamic feel to it. I like the idea of the W being in the scale icon, but it doesn't seem to be a letter that really works well with scales--it's not like a T or some other type letter. Can you think of any other way to keep the W concept and add it to the scales other than what you've come up with in # 24? The yellow that you've added instead of the green in #s 24 & 25 looks more like a corn-type yellow? Is there a color that is more gold in color? Not sure if there is. I like the colors of #23 much better than 24/25--if there is a "golder" color, perhaps we see it? Re: #23, what is the font that you're using? Most of my existing materials, including all correspondence that we use is Times New Roman. If the font isn't Times New Roman, could you change it to that so I can just see what it might look like in that font? Thanks and I look forward to seeing some additional ideas!
One other though about #23--the top of the scale is arched downwards--is it possible to structure it so at the ends it goes up--almost as a flexing muscle type look?
Here are some additional entries....The concept you requested with the "arms" going upwards turns out funny no matter how I do it. I have yet to get it to where it works. added some additional concepts in line with my earlier entries however....
Can you change the font of Design #23 to Times New Roman--and make that the only change--nothing else. I'd like to see what it looks like. Design #37 is that Times New Roman font? The logo is slightly different in that the arc is smaller (I like the way it's in #23 best of all). All of your designs are really magnificient--I really like the use of the colors, the feel, etc.... Please let me know if you can show me #23 in times new roman font and then I can make my decision. Thanks so much!
