I have followed your brief... and looked at something that's simple, elegant and modern. I included the green circles as an abstract interpretation of the donations - the green naturally symbolises growth and I thought it would be appropriate to show growth - almost creating the illusion of abundance.
I opted for purple - as it symbolises royalty - and I thought that it was feminine, strong, and would make a definate statement!
I then looked at two options - one includes the tag-line and one doesn't (as I feel that it may be a bit cluttered with all the information on the Logo)!
Could you try using earth tones of sage green, chocolate brown, and light brown? and changing tag line to Improving Our Impact by Changing the Way We Give?
The dots are too simple for me...is there something else dynamic, lines, that you might suggest as an element for me?
I'm quite excited about this one! I changed the colours as requested - let me know if it's not quite the right shade (and if you have an image of a colour that jumps out at you - you could probably send it to me in the private message).
Then... I included a line between the text and the icon - gives a sense of professionalism Now... for the icon... I created a VERY abstract chain link... which I think is HUGELY symbolic for what you want to do... firstly... we're all part of a chain - and you are the link between the giver and receiver... plus - my original inspiration came from the fact that you wanted people to know that it's a partnership... and if those two elements don't work together - the Logo wouldn't work... isn't it sooo cool??? Sorry if I come across as unprofessional - but I just got so excited! Let me know what I can change. Emma
#75 Yes, Emma, I like the colors... perhaps the brown shaded box as you have it and my initials in a diagonal script or something waving, flowing upward? Thank you!!
I'm going to sign off now (in another time zone to you) and if you make one of my entries No1 - I will then be able to submit the work I did on it for you - I should be able to get to it in the next 10 hours or so
