Thank you for your submissions, positive thinking! I am quite drawn to 117 and 118 (thank you for not using pink, I am starting to get tired of looking at that color!). I like how the icon has a nice flow and a uniqueness to it. Although I like the idea of a swan, I am wondering if you can keep the integrity of the design but make it look a little less like a bird.
Many thanks for your appreciation of my design. I am very grateful that you put it on rank 1. Actually I did not really intend to describe my design into a particular form, whether it be a swan or a peacock. I purposely made vague because they can describe the elegance as well as uniqueness. I guess if you want it just as the birds alone, will alter the overall shape and almost at once to change the philosophy of the logo itself. I guess you already have a logo that has a strong philosophy. Hopefully pleased...
I understand you did not have the intentions of making it look like a swan, however that is my first impression of the design. I do not want the bird as part of the design, could you please just rework it a bit so the s curve looks a little less like the neck and head of a swan? I like the rest of the design, the s curve just needs a bit of tweaking.
Thank you for your new submissions however I think you have misunderstood my request. I DO NOT want the icon to look like a swan or a bird of any sort. I would like the "s" curve to be tweaked so it does not represent the neck and head of a swan in any way.
I apologize for the misunderstanding, and I am more pleased with it should be, subtle. #140 #141 n #142 is my improvement, and a new proposal #143. Awaiting for your next guidance feedback...
can you adjust the bottom part of the swirl? It still reminds me slightly as the body of a swan. See what you can do with changing tweaking the swoop itself, the angle of the curves, the direction, etc. It's not that I don't like the swoop, just would love to see different options of it. Not sure which one i like more, the swoop or the face! keep up the great work!
Hi Laurel, I apologize because I have to withdraw my previous entries caused of JMHdezine claimed that the overlapping colors is his concept that came first. Actually I don't know that it is protected, but I don't want to get trouble from that. Logotournament is very strict in it's rules to protect the designer's concepts. I hope you can understand...
Thank you so much for all your work. My favorite entry is 201, however I sought the opinions of a few colleagues and they felt the image of a face best represented a hair and make up artist, which I unfortunately have to agree with. What are the possibilities of keeping the same feel of the face but creating something a bit more abstract? I hate to ask this of you but I really do like your work.
Hi, I'll try my best, but I can't be far away from the existing one, cause now we are in judging phase. I am not allowed to present new concept. Thanks.
Since I got your last feedback, I also then did a small survey to fellow designers, but it was only a few who say that the logo more like a logo for the make-up artist and hair stylish, even my mentor said "simple enough but pretty, her dress a little like a leaf but in harmony with the face, but why do her hair like candy and the color is like dishes ?". In summary, most of them in the end understand that the logo is for something to do with wardrobe and prop adv, it's a subtle and growing up logo. But I still try to fix the logo to get rid of your doubts. Here is my revision #218 . If you look at the left side, you'll look as the previous logo, a woman wearing a dress, and if you look to the right side up, you'll find a hanger with its candy head, and if you look at the right side as a whole, you will see where someone is wearing a long dress. Is hidden also, you will find that there is a form of garlic or a leaf to symbolize the prop stylist. Hopefully pleased and please don't be hesitate to ask me for more revision if you still need it...
I apologize if my English isn't good enough. Trully, Pt
Thank you for your honest opinions, and you english isn't bad at all, I was certainly able to understand what you were saying!
I appreciate and value the opinions of your mentor, however the people I sought opinions from are professionals in my industry who directly hire people like me, this is one of the reasons I feel the change was needed.
I really like your new design, 218. If I could ask for one small change, the curvy line on the left, right above the gray-ish line still somewhat represents a face to me, could you please make an adjustment to this part of the design? Other than this one minor change, I like the design and I am sure it will be my #1 pick.
Thank you for being so accommodating. Truly, Laurel
