I like the entry #18...gives thought to the Vitruvian Man and protractor drafting. #18 colors are very nice!
I am a very detailed designer/ draftsman. Everything i do is detailed out in cad with sections of how to create unique residential designs interior and exterior. My clients I am trying to reach out to, in this market, will be remodel/additions. Everyday people with builder boring homes that need to be created to fit their individual lifestyle. Therefore, logo needs to be non-commercial looking- no block forms that look like buildings. I also am not so interested in a residential (house roof) design as i do not want to give the impression of a specific style of architecture.
#49 is attractive, yet i like the idea of a logo that can easily be stamped as a symbol, rather then always having to see my full name listed.

to have a secondary (not so obvious to the lay person) architectural reference is the perfect design. What that is...of course i dont know. I enjoy architectural history, as it is the base to moving forward. Golden Rule? Vitruvian Man, classic orders... if any of that makes any sense.
Also drafting, protractor style. just some thoughts.
