Hello, please clarify if you want the logos incorporated or not. If so, designers need to know you have permission from the entities in question.

Please submit designs with the LVSSR logo incorporated and without the LVSSR logo incorporated. We have permission to use the LVSSR logo. Our resort prefers the incorporation of their logo, but it's not a definite requirement.

The NSP logo should not be incorporated but design elements and color patterns can/should be used as part of the color pattern - we have permission to do so, but we don't want to re-create/incorporate the NSP logo.

The logo for our patrol will be used both for a "patch" to place on patrol jackets and to be incorporated into T-shirts for fundraising activities, so something that incorporates elements of our mission (www.nsp.org) and that is appealing/cool to the public would be an optimal design.

Hello Randall,

Can you please confirm that you have the written consent from the American Red Cross to use the symbol. The American Red Cross is very strict about who and how the symbol may be used and not having proper permission is a trademark infringement and cannot be used.

Designers should not be adding the symbol until it has been stated that the CH owns or has rights to use the red cross symbol.

The cross is public domain, not an American Red Cross trademark symbol.

This pertains to The Canadian Red Cross, but I'm sure the same applies to usage in the US.

The cross is very much protected.

The Greek Red Cross emblem and the American Red Cross name are federally protected marks of The American National Red Cross (see United States Code, Title 18, Section 706).

Since the Las Vegas Welcome Sign is in the public domain, how about a design that incorporates recognizable elements from the welcome sign? Considering how many guests take pictures in front of the welcome sign at the resort, a patrol logo similar to the sign would be very popular souvenir. Just some feedback from of our team that is judging the designs.
