Thanks for all the submissions so far. This entry (#12) is along the lines of what I am looking for. Particularly the conservative, strong company name, along with a letter symbol that stands on its own, but also looks great with the name.
I prefer designs that convey the golf nature of our company subtly or not at all over ones that are very golf oriented.

#19 has caught my interest due to the strong name (where 'Larkin' is larger than 'group'), the conservative symbol and the dark green. Could I see some minor alterations including the flag being a little shorter?
Also, when I look at this logo on the computer, the dark green looks great, but it appears as black on an iPad. Should this be a concern, and would making it slightly lighter alleviate this>?
