I think that the only reason I might include my personal name (Scott Lawrence Lanin) is if there is some way to tie in the fact that "Law" is quite literally my middle name - to maybe connect the "Law" in my middle name with the "Law" in the firm/company name; otherwise I'd probably leave my personal name out of the logo completely - I would not want to list my personal name directly under the firm name like this
the image of the gavel is a possibility but it is more typically used for courts

#1 doesn't work bc it is not clearly the Manhattan skyline, which is the only reason to include that - plus the dollar bills will turn off clients - people do not want to pay for legal services and usually only do so when necessary so emphasizing money won't help - although it does relate to bankruptcy and financial problems, it doesn't work from a marketing perspective
