perhaps if the triathlon festival were part of the bands, also the bands should blend together to lool more like water using different shades of blue

#5 the bands can all intesect as well, the circular pattern looks good, it does not have to remain circular, figures look great in that they are a good size, shape etc and they look real because they are touching what appears to be a road.. multiple band colors can be introduced in the sky as well

#6 this is looking much better however it would be interesting to see the bands intersect with more colors added, you do not need to stay inside a circle as well

The main band overlap looks good, however I was thinking the bands of colors in the sky and the water can intertwine and overlap for a nice effect
