Krewe de PinkLogo Design Contest

Krewe de Pink is a 501(c3) organization made up solely of volunteers whose mission is to raise money for research for breast cancer prevention and cure. Each year Krewe de Pink hosts fundraising events including the Pink Bra Run which is held in May and Pink Prom (a fun Prom night for grown-ups with live music, photos, dancing auctions, raffles and more) and the Breast Cancer Survivors & Supporters Second Line and Party held at Hard Rock Cafe.

Here are the things I’d like to focus on with the logo updates:
SIMPLIFIED, BALANCED and CLEAN (fleur de lis needs to be simplified and symbolize Mardi Gras/Carnival feel i.e.:
REPRESENTS BRAND WITH OR WITHOUT TEXT
ADAPTIVE TO DIFFERENT MEDIUMS (website, partner websites, social media sizes, banner ad sizes, print, embroidery, stickers, etc.)
ALTERNATE BACKGROUNDS
COMMUNICATES MISSION while being still being FESTIVE
MORE RECOGNIZABLE/MEMORABLE

Pink and (black or white)

Attached the old logo. I want to use a type of fleur de lis and a ribbon again , but I want them renewed in a more clean contemporary look. Also, this font is too old / classy looking... it needs t be updated. This old design needs an overhaul ...
