#8 Like "edging"design although it was not at all what i was thinking going in... Would be interested to see without the black being used as we have only used black as background as our trucks are all black.
Will the logo hanging down below Kramer Construction Group make it difficult for a business card to layout with spacing above name/title looking compressed?
Your earliest (56 i think) still LOOKS the best to me but your revision per my suggestions (245) does what i asked in creating more room on a business card. I appreciate seeing it stacked too but the design works best horizontal as you originally intended (you guys must HATE people like me ruining your stuff). My question is this... YOUR design looks better than mine where it hangs down below the rest of the line. My concern is how that works on a card, not so much how it would work on a letterhead where there is more room. Not sure about that issue on truck door. Do you have any comments on this? I am not saying I may not choose the most recent straight across horizontal but want to explore all options. Does having it hang down but not as much as original make sense or make it look like a (mine) mistake?
I just submitted #306 where the mark is 10% smaller than #242 for comparison.. You are right in exploring the options as it will affect other branding medium. I do provide both stacked and horizontal version of the logo. In the case of business card, it depends largely on what information goes on it and how the designer arrange the layout. The size of the mark against the text in #242 and #306 are quite common in general. That being said, If this design is chosen we can work out the business card at a small fee if you are comfortable with my style. As for the truck door, if using only one door for the logo, a stacked version will allow optimum display as compare to horizontal version. But the design is bold enough to be displayed horizontally without losing its clarity. Hope I have explain it well and feel free to ask me any other question that you may have :)
