I like the idea of playing with the "O" in these designs. Wasn't quite sure what the mark on #19 was, though.

Wondering what it would be like to replace the O with a World Globe? We are trying to attract an international clientele, so that could work with the brand. Or, what would it look like if, inside the O, there was a small version of the Empire State outline that is in the original Edry Group logo. Might be a way to tie the two together?

Thanks,
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

Thank you so much for the feedback and suggestions. #19 was intended to be a fancier verison of the doorknocker from #20 :) I have uploaded #35 with the empire state building from your original logo and will work on a version incorporating a globe. Please let me know if there is anything else.

Best Regards,
Faith

Hi Faith--

Great work... I like the direction at the cursive font in #44, but dont love the actual font... something that slants a little bit less might work better (Same with #43 which reminds me of that font that came with all the old macs in the late 80s! lol).... Also, let's try it with a lower case "o" so that is would read "Ko-ED." I think the cursive works better in sentence case instead of all-caps. And lastly, lets lose the empire state building in the cursive design.. might be too much... I still like it in version #35.

Thanks for everything.

One other thing about #35... can we try moving the Empire State Bldg and use it either *instead* of the hyphen OR make it a little smaller and put it on top of the dash? What do you think about that?

Thanks.

#47 with the Empire State Bldg. in place of the hyphen. I think that looks quite nice, what do you think?

I like it a lot! My *only* concern is that it might look too much like a phallus! lol... but maybe I just have a dirty mind, so I am going to ask around at my office tomorrow and see what other people think. But it is definitely what i had in mind.... I'll be in touch tomorrow.

Also, #46 jumped to my top 2... great work. I'm wondering about losing the hyphen in that one too. But lets not worry about it yet... that can be tweaked at the end...

OMG, that's funny! It was built by men after all lol! Ok, let me know what the others say :)

Hi Faith...

people seem to like #47 a lot... but can we try to make the building a bit bigger... lengthen the building's straight lines a bit so that it seems more proportional to the actual building and then maybe make the whole icon 10%-15% bigger (so that it might be more proportional to the text)?

And then with #46, let's try it without the hyphen and substituting the "ED" font with something a little less computer-y... perhaps even just the font that is the "Edry" in the original logo... people seem to think that the current two fonts don't flow together too well... so maybe this will help.

And maybe even have the little curly part of the "O" overlay the "E" like you did in #44? Think that might help unify it a bit?

Thanks,

#53 with the larger Empire State and #54 with the different font for "ED" and the overlap of th "o". Please let me know if these work any better or if you would like to see anything else. I also changed the font in #53 :)

Thanks, Faith

On #53... the weight of the "ED" seems to overwhelm the rest of the logo... can we scale that back a little... Something in the weight of #30, but using the new font... (aka, more than a BOLD, but less than an ULTRA HEAVY... )

Thanks,

Oh boy, thank you so much! Here's #56 with the boldness scaled back and #55 with the overall colors lightened a bit. Did you want me to do the same with #54?

Hi Sandy,

I think I misread your request on making the "ED" a little less bold as far as not making it bold, but not ultra heavy so I have uploaded #59 which is in between bold and ultra heavy.

Thanks for that tweak on #59... I like it... as we approach the finish line you seem to be dominating the competition...

Can we just try a few more things to see if we can nail it down?

1) on #59, can we try the cursive "Ko" font from #57? Also the proportions on the Empire State Bldg still feel a bit off. Now it seems too close to the Washington Monument! Take a peak at #69 and #8, which seem closer to the right ratio of width to height... Lastly, can you show me one without both the line under "Exclusives" and without the "A Division of The Edry Group" tagline?.

2) On #57, the proportion between Ko and Ed seems off... Can we try one with a small cap D, one with a lowercase d and one with "ED" just being a little smaller? And, lastly, if it isn't too big a pain, can you try one of #57 with the ESB outline from #59 sitting on the right side of "KoED"?

Basically, I'm wondering what it would like to blend both of the top choices...

Much appreciated

Hi Sandy,

Thank you. Hopefully I will continue to dominate as there are always a flood of entries in the last few hours. :)

#65 I took the exact width and height dimension from a photo of the Empire State Building :) http://i51.tinypic.com/zofghc.jpg

#66 with cursive "KO" #67 with no line or tagline, #68 smaller "ED", #69 with smallcap "D", #70 with lowercase "D".

I hope I got them all lol! The request to do the ESB to the right would make the design too similar to fermat's and therefore I wouldn't be able to do that, I appologize.

Please let me know if there is anything else.
