Top Three Things to Communicate

#1 - Contemporary/modern
#2 - Full of good info with an edge
#3 - Entertaining

Our Target Audience:

The target audience are podcast listeners looking for interesting takes on various topics affecting our world today. The audience demographic is pretty wide ranging but would be 25-55 age range.

Color Preferences

Open to anything color-wise, so I don't want to be restrictive. Was thinking Orange as one of the main colors. Perhaps with a green? Or another color combo?

Our Ideas and Additional Information:

The obvious would be a play on a "Keg of knowledge" being tapped somehow. Or a mockup of a brain being tapped for ideas and knowledge. But, I don't want to restrict it to only that, it could be largely texted based too or a creative use of text and imagery. Looking for something to really stand out. Also need a version of logo that will be the right look and dimension for an iTunes Podcast logo (square).
