You're right ... as far as I can see, it's possible and not against the rules.
From what I know, it is possible to do this via Logo Tournament in the "1-on-1 projects" menu. Unfortunately, the 1-on1 projects menu, is not yet possible, because I am still a new designer in the Logo Tournament community. Or you can contact the Support Logo Tournament (support@logotournament.com) to ask about the certainty of this.
