Although I know you stated that dental imagery was not advisable, but I thought adding a warmth and caring feel to the logo could take the fear out a little better than no imagery at all. Plus I think it puts more focus on the your profession and business. Well I hope you like it.
As a periodontist, I actually work on the support structures of the teeth. A tooth image misleads the public in a way. Your tone is positive. I tried to clarify the points better. Please look at the brief again. Thanks, Dr. N
OK, sorry for including the tooth in the first designs. This one should give the feeling of being solid and professional by using strong characters, yet also gives a friendly and approachable feel by using soft toned colors from your offices.
HI Wickster: More on target. I liked the strong but soft approach. I do need to have periodontics/dental implants worked in somewhere so people know what I do. The purple is not really my purple and I am concerned about reproducibility. The logo goes on items which are copied so it needs to reproduce well. While I love the tricolor, I think we need to look at reducing printing costs. I liked the purples in #6 and 10, but I think 6 purple/lavender will work better in grayscale. Thank you.
Here is a bit more solid design design emphasizing more on your initials, in cases where you would only need to display your main logo and not the name. An example would be t-shirt branding and the like. It also uses the lavender to Purple gradient and eliminating black completely.
