However pls send me your email address as we may have other projects for you besides a logo (screen print, etc.). 7 years ago Kindom commented on #268 Withdrawn *Later this week. Enjoy your break. 7 years ago Kindom commented on #268 Withdrawn Ok no problem! Will have decision this week. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #268 Withdrawn Just to let you know that I will be leaving for a family break later this afternoon. We return next Friday evening. I will be taking a PC with me and will have Internet access, but it may take a little longer to reply to any requests than usual. Best regards, Steve 7 years ago Kindom commented on #268 Withdrawn Love it! Thanks. Will await the rest of the entries and review w/ our team and advise. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #229 Withdrawn LOL! Yes, he does! :) I've made the changes - please see #268. 7 years ago Kindom commented on #256 Withdrawn I actually like this one better than the last one I commented on. Same comments though - pls make leaves thinner and take-off the "arms" to simplify it. Thank you! 7 years ago Kindom commented on #229 Withdrawn Thanks! Can you pls make the leaves a little skinnier? It looks like he has fat legs, haha thanks. Maybe take-off the "arms" to make it even more simple? 7 years ago rendraG commented on #256 Withdrawn The more I looked at #248, the more I felt the central design element needed to be moved up a little bit. So, I have shown that here, but I haven't withdrawn #248 so that you can compare the two and decide which placement you prefer. I've also corrected a minor error in the way the overlapping lines are represented. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #248 Withdrawn This, together with #249, are reworking of #229 and #230, which were done in a bit of a hurry. :) Apart from making the leaves more leaf-like, I've moved the middle elements up so that they're more central, giving the design a better balance. I look forward to any feedback you might have. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #229 Withdrawn I had some time to experiment with a simpler design in the middle. It would probably benefit from a redraw to get the curves more accurate - I'll do this if you prefer it to the earlier variation. 7 years ago Kindom commented on #220 Withdrawn No problem, I can only work on comments in the morning anyway since I have my baby to look after in the evening. Will await revisions tomorrow, thanks! 7 years ago rendraG commented on #132 Withdrawn :) 7 years ago Kindom commented on #132 Withdrawn Pls disregard, I found it. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #220 Withdrawn I'm working on this simplification now. I have some family friends over this evening, so it may be tomorrow morning before I have something to show you, but I'll incorporate the extra text element as well. If you have any further thoughts, please let me know and I'll try to work them into the next revision. :) 7 years ago Kindom commented on #132 Withdrawn Canyon also pls re-upload this, for some reason I don't see it in any of the columns, I may have deleted by mistake. Sorry 7 years ago Kindom commented on #220 Withdrawn Yes, looks great, thanks! Can you pls work on simplifying the tree of humans/leaves inside? Looks a little crowded. Also doesn't have to be a tree, could be a "plant" if a leaf in the center where the DNA strands meet, then some "humans" on either side. I'll let you play with it. Can you also pls add "humans + nature + balance" in lower case letters in the same line weight as "DOM" on the bottom of "KINDOM"? Thank you. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #220 Withdrawn Sorry, I misunderstood and, for some reason, I can't get that link to work. Is this what you meant? 7 years ago Kindom commented on #218 Withdrawn *Just, not kist 7 years ago Kindom commented on #218 Withdrawn Thanks for the fast job! Sorry I wasn't clear, didn't need the whole background to be black. Kist need the logo symbol itself as white line art on a black round background like: https://cmkt-image-prd.global.ssl.fastly.net/0.1.0/ps/2076131/580/387/m1/fpnw/wm1/mockup1_2_01-.jpg?1483054397&s=45f2207f70ac4a12e759e62426ff7a06. The "KINDOM" and "humans + nature + balance" is still black font on white ground. Let me know if you have any questions! You're my top 2 right now. :) 7 years ago Kindom commented on #132 Withdrawn Yes I like better, thanks! 7 years ago rendraG commented on #214 Withdrawn Thanks again for your feedback! I'll upload the white on black version in the next few minutes. I'll also experiment with the central element of the design, but it will take me a little longer. Hopefully, I'll have something new later this evening. If not, early tomorrow.. All the best, Steve 7 years ago Kindom commented on #214 Withdrawn Also can you pls do a second version so that the line art is white against a black circle background like this: https://cmkt-image-prd.global.ssl.fastly.net/0.1.0/ps/2076131/580/387/m1/fpnw/wm1/mockup1_2_01-.jpg?1483054397&s=45f2207f70ac4a12e759e62426ff7a06? Thank you. 7 years ago Kindom commented on #100 Withdrawn Yes. Sent comments. 7 years ago Kindom commented on #214 Withdrawn Looks great! I like how you cut the lines on the DNA, it also has a clear visual of how it twists as well. Can you work on simplifying the tree of humans/leaves inside? Looks a little crowded. Also doesn't have to be a tree, could be a "plant" if a leaf in the center where the DNA strands meet, then some "humans" on either side. I'll let you play with it! 7 years ago rendraG commented on #214 Withdrawn Variation to #202. In #202, I cut the lines of the DNA where they crossed to give the sense that they were weaving in and out of each other. But, I let the lines merge when creating the tree to symbolise the coming together of the two strands. I've given the tree the same 'woven' treatment as the DNA strands in this variation just in case you prefer stylistic consistency over symbolism. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #202 Withdrawn Is this the sort of thing you had in mind? It's a circle of DNA that breaks out at the bottom to form a tree with the foliage represented by alternating figures and leaves. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #100 Withdrawn Please see #202 7 years ago rendraG commented on #100 Withdrawn Just so I'm clear about the sort of style you have in mind, is this what you mean by Japanese crest? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/18/80/c0/1880c0cfb4160c44b9296e5df64264e3--mystic-symbols-oriental-tattoo.jpg 7 years ago Kindom commented on #100 Withdrawn ALso, can you do a second version that is not a crown, but like a Japanese crest? Like incorporate the DNA strand, human and leaf into a Japanese crest somehow? I like the symmetry & simplicity of Japanese crests. Thank you! 7 years ago rendraG commented on #132 Withdrawn Does this work better? 7 years ago Kindom commented on #100 Withdrawn Thanks for the revision. Can you pls switch the leaf and the heads? So there are 3 leaves, and 2 heads. Thank you! 7 years ago Kindom commented on #99 Withdrawn Thanks for the revision. Can you pls switch the leaf and the heads? So there are 3 leaves, and 2 heads. Thank you! 7 years ago rendraG commented on #22 Withdrawn Hope you managed to get some rest! :) I've uploaded a few revisions. Please see entry #96, #97, #98, #99 and #100. I have made the DNA more oval and also replaced a couple of the circles with leaves. The monolinear style prevents them being too detailed with the lines at this weight, but I can add some veins, if you're ok with me making the weight of the lines lighter throughout the whole design. I've also experimented with several different font styles and treatments, including sans serif, serif, inline, bold/light and small caps. It may be that none of them is 'the' one, but I'm hoping to get a sense of the ideas you're most drawn to so that I can experiment further. I'll be logging off soon (it's 10:40pm here), but will respond to any further feedback first thing tomorrow. All the best, Steve 7 years ago Kindom commented on #22 Withdrawn No problem, I can only work now because my baby is napping. After that I won't be able to log on until she's asleep tonight or tomorrow! Thanks. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #22 Withdrawn Thanks so much for your feedback! My original sketches included alternating 'heads' and 'leaves', but I never recreated them when I digitised the design. I'm really not sure why, since part of my thinking was to connect animal and plant life. :/ I have a bit of family time now, but will work on revisions later this evening. All the best, Steve 7 years ago Kindom commented on #22 Withdrawn Thanks Steve for the clever logo. Can you pls make the DNA a little more oval instead of round-ish? Any way you can incorporate plants, like a leaf shape maybe instead of the circle (people's heads)? So play around with alternating the leaf and the head? I also like how you bolded the "KIN". Can you also play with different fonts? I like the simplicity of it. 7 years ago rendraG commented on #27 Withdrawn Variation to the crown/DNA concept from entry #22 7 years ago rendraG commented on #22 Withdrawn The icon is a crown incorporating DNA. The circles, and peaks and troughs represent stylised people. I've kept the design in B&W at this stage to focus on the concept. I welcome any feedback. Best regards, Steve 7 years ago
