And now that I think about it, could you please retry #1 with even less blue? I like the green color but I'd prefer only one color scale at a time. Thank you!
My first design now with all green leaves, no blue background, and the text on one line. Do you like the text being blue (one color) and the leaves being green (another color)?
#18 I like the hand-writing style just I' d prefer something more ... readable. And with an ampersand instead of the dash. I prefer the inner petals as they were in the 1st place.
Here are some variations with the inner petals back to normal, and the tagline in a handwriting font of different styles.
I think you will find that once you rank a design #1, then a lot of other designs will jump on that look (in this case a round emblem with text underneath) and try to give you something similar.
If you have specific things you want to try, post them on the main comments page for everyone to see.... for example, the more "horiztonal" design you want to see.
If you have ideas how I can take this current design and make it more to your liking, please let me know.
As requested, here is a more "hand-drawn" outlined style, with a thin font to work with the illustrative look. If you like this and have some color options, let me know.
#62 Could you redo it in grey like the old ones, the green leaf stays and the fonts change to the ones you used in #72 or in something else you find more appropriate.
Still, this doesn't really have the "movement" idea you were asking about, and if you're not interested in this flower concept as a chosen design, I can probably stop updating it.
#100 Could you please redo the flower reflection in a way that it gradually fades from the inside out? So that its image becomes even more subtle than it is now? (Am I becoming a pain in the butt?)
Your #100 and 116 are still my favorites, at least up to this moment.
The reason I extended the contest is that I was advised by some other designers that gradients are very difficult to reproduce well on paper and though they may look great on the computer screen, the result may be disappointing when printed.
Please also bear in mind that I want this design printed on a transparency (I hope the word is correct, please forgive my english) to put outside my studio which is on ground floor and its entrance is a big glass panel.
Could you help me with all this, because trully my knowledge around graphics is obviously non-existant and the $350 is rather serious for me to spend and lose.
That is very interesting, being that most of the designs submitted to you have Gradients in them.
I am curious which other designer told you this, and what their submissions look like.
The thing that is unique about my design is that the gradient colors are just from one shade to a darker shade.
For example, dark grey to light grey. All in the "grey" family. It's not like dark grey to light purple (from one different color to the next).
For example look at design #135 by IdeazDen. That has green AND grey gradients mixed together.
If you pick my logo and you are truly not happy with the final results when they are printed, I will give you your money back. You have my word on that.
I do these logos on Logo Tournament just for fun, and to see if I can compete with other designers and maybe make some extra cash on the side.
At this point I just want you to be happy with your logo, no matter whose design you choose.
Here is a solid color (all black) version of the logo that can also be used in things like Faxes or if you have to make a 1 color decal on a cup or make a stencil out of it or embroider it.
One thing I wanted to point out is that the "green petal" (the petal that was green on its own) is bigger than the other petals. This was intentional, and I just wanted to make sure you knew/saw this.
I can make it the same size as the others if you prefer it.
Anyways, this is what I think a solid color version of the logo should look like. Let me know if you have any other questions.
#158 I am sorry to tell you I don't like it at all! I don't mean to offend you 'cause I trully believe you're very talented, not that you expect me to say so. There is a reason (a good one) why I don't like it: there is this greek political party PASOK, some jerks pretending to be socialists, but are nothing but.. And their emblem is this half-sun that looks exactly like this. I wouldn't like to have a logo that resembles theirs, sorry! Look, I understand that you are buzy with more serious stuff than this. But I'd like to ask you: since I did extend the contest (and I know that's not your problem) do you have any other ideas, completely different from the ones I already have from you? I mean something with more color but that will still stand out from the others?
That's an unfortunate coincidence late in the contest.
Unfortunately I don't have any more time to devote to your contest at this time, and wish you good luck with your logo design... there are lots of other designs to choose from.
f you still consider mine in the top rankings at the very end, then that is very good of you and I would appreciate it.
Back to my logo: I don't see any reason why you would ever need to use this "all black" version, it was just a sample. I've since brought this issue of "gradients" up on the Forums here, (see: https://logotournament.com/forum/designer_discussion/776 ) and a bunch of top-ranked designers all agree with me that there will be no issue with using gradients as per the original design.
