Thanks Pam. I'm just going to hit you with my questions and you can let me know what you think!! 1. Could the font change to not all upper case, perhaps a different font, not too fancy but not too straight?? 2. Do you think adding the phrase 'nurture, grow, develop... Naturally' without it becoming too busy? Not sure still if this should be included or not... 3. Can we reduce the toys to just the spinning top? I'm just trying to make it look a bit cleaner, finer, does that make sense??? My husband also wanted me to ask how difficult it is to put it on a coloured background? All the toy websites are plain white background. We were thinking that maybe if we did a darker background with a bright logo it might be something a bit different. Sorry Pam, thanks for being so open to feedback!! Trudi
No problem. I can easily make the changes. Feedback is welcomed and appreciated. It really helps the designer(s) understand what the client is looking for. Thanks so much!
#81 - removed the block & car, added the tagline, and changed the font
#82 - added a navy background and adjusted the trunk & tagline colors so they would show up
#83 - removed some of the leaves, to open up the tree a bit, still maintaining the rainbow effect
#84 - added a dark green gradient background; adjusted the trunk & tagline colors so they would show up
#85 - switched the fonts on #83
Let me know if any of these appeal to you. I'd be most happy to revise whatever you want. Just let me know. :)
Regretfully, I have to get up early to go to work, so I'll have to say goodnight for now. (It's almost 1:30 a.m here). Whatever ideas or suggestions you have just let me know and I'll implement them tomorrow evening when I get home from work.
Hi, Looking gOod just wondering if you can make a couple changes.... If you could please have a look at- Http://logotournament.com/contests/sugar_hill_nurseries The trees in #75and#121 both look really great. I think it's because the trees are not just straight they are a biT more realistic tree shaped... They have great texture and the shading on the trunk . It looks three dimensional. Also we really like the root system running along the ground a bit. We thought maybe this could underline the text? Also can you apply any shading on the coloured leaves We think we need to either move the spinning top, so it is more obvious, or lose it.?
I'm currently on my lunch hour at work - just logged in to respond to your last 2 comments so you don't think I'm ignoring them.
I will make the changes when I get home to my computer after work. I do all my LogoTournament designing at home on my own computer, so all my files are there.
I'll start uploading the revisions as soon as I get them done this evening.
Hi Pam, No need to worry! I struggle to get on my emails as it is - four kids under 6 means I only get a couple hours in the middle of the day when they are napping, and a couple at night once they're in bed! So thank you for your patience. My husband sent the last two requests, but I'll just try and clarify so as not to waste your time. Although I love the tree on the darker backgrounds, it is apparently not practical.... (Boohoo) So, working on #85, re the trees in the sugar hill nurseries link, hoping to get the shading on the trunk to make it look more life like. Keeping the coloured leaves, but can you see the shading on the coloured leaves in the marcee brown link? Hoping to achieve that also. I like the inclusion of the spinning top for the toy element, but just think it is maybe in the wrong spot? - it may have to go all together, but see what you think. Can we have the t in 'to' in lower case please. Can we also change the font again to something like used in your thoughtful monkey nutrition logo (the monkey style) - not sure if this will be too cursive. I still want it to be easy to read, but just a little more natural looking - hope that makes sense. And lastly, we are unsure on the colours used for kids toys to you... We were thinking of having all the same colour except for Toys so it stands out more. Pam, It's 11am here now, hopefully when you are home from work, I will be able to communicate with you rapidly so as we can nail this! Thanks for being so approachable... Many thanks, Trudi
Many thanks for your patience! You're a saint! Especially with 4 children that young. Goodness!
#96 - changed the font to the one you specified, and changed the colors so that "Toys" stands out. I revised the tree trunk to look more life like, and added shading to it, as well as the leaves.
Currently trying more font options as well as working on the branches a bit to give them a little more of a lifelike look.
Let me know your thoughts - as always, I am willing to change/tweak whatever you want me to.
Hi Pam, This (i think) is my last one.... When i read the name Kids Toys to you, it is sort of separated by the tree trunk. I realise the whole look is based on the tree being in the middle, but could we move the tree to one side? Or do something with the name so its not separated by the tree trunk. Thanks Pam, hope its not too late for you.... Trudi
