Thanks for submissions, some quick observations on current designs: - In general -- both have a clean / readable / positive image. - Color combination is effective, the different shades of green, with swatches of yellow and red, etc. - Hoping for a slightly more integrated overall image. The graphic you have of the person along with the text seem to be not very tightly coupled. - The typeface for the text is slightly sterile, lacking in personality. Can you try some alternates. - The person imagery is a little bit generic, at first glance it almost looks like shopper sort of imagery with the boxes (shopping bags) off to the left. Would love to see imagery that was a little bit more targetted
Thanks again for ideas, would welcome others you may have in mind.
On graphic image idea- 1. The concept of happy child/man is understandable but use of green border or box is not so effective IMHO. Can you think of alternate imagery aligned with our overall logo requirements? We are already getting some submissions about a house, perhaps you can think of an alternate image that connotes nurturing, etc? New ideas are welcome which is completely different than this. 2. KIDS is the word from which we can generate some ideas. On use of color- 1. You can try with other colors as described in contest color preferences section. 2. Other color which should go with the theme are welcome.
On use of fonts- 1. We have a font preference of NeoSans(preferred)/Halvetica Bold / VAG Rounded 2. If you create a typographic logo (which is also welcome), then you can go with other fonts which is suitable.
#28 - #26 in particular are interesting, these are definitely improvements from the prior versions but I have to admit -- I keep wishing for a slightly more integrated concept, one in which KIDS is part of the design itself. They seem to be two separate things sitting next to each other rather than an integrated whole. As a side note, we are try to simplify the narrative by removing the ", LLC" from the logo altogether.
Have may have more generalized request as part of the project description, to get ideas that go beyond incorporating a house. Think we got a fair number of those sorts of ideas in play. Not certain what other things to suggest frankly, have prompted some folks on staff to comment later this evening.
Your latest design in blue and green is very innovative. We wanted to have a little more integration between typeface and the image. Your blue design is impressive but we want the DATASYSTEMS part in other color (may be the blue used in house). Is it possible? Is that possible to bring something out-of the box from within the WORDS (i.e KIDS and DATASYSTEMS). Your creative idea is very welcome. Can you bring any idea from the text “We are a software consulting company that markets a suite of products to agencies who provide a troubled child with a positive foster home environments.” Please remove LLC from design
By doing this we are not by any means willing to restrict your creative effort what so ever. We are very much hopeful to get a complete new concept from you.
Thank you for these designs. A bit of additional feedback and a general observation – the people in the house are a little bit too happy for our tastes! A slightly sobering business we are in...
I think the house image has to have slightly less detail for us to successfully repurpose this at different scales.
#14 is exactly what one of our staff was hoping for, but the spacing of characters and dimensions of it overall are pretty difficult to read as realized.
#10 is going in an interesting direction. Though once again the readability of kids is not so strong.
I'm wondering how well the outline text is going to hold up as well. can you provide us with some alternate treatments on the text?
Starting with #77 : -- the green letter "k" somewhat resembles a jelly monster or something. Any other ideas here? - concerned about the gradients reproducing consistently in print. - With general theme you started here, can you simplify design, reducing gradients and detail? We need soemthing that will reproduce at smaller sizes, this current one will have issues.
