Although it was not a color choice in the options, I am open to the use of some brown tones for accents instead of greys.

The use of yellow or orange in for slight accents might also look good with the blues

You can ask the designer what happened with their entry commenting that issue in the private area of that designer (clicking over any of their other designs or their name).... because then that designer will receive an email with the comment, if you write in this area maybe that designer never will read it.

Just for your information, now the contest is in the Top5 Period. Now just the 5 designers ranked first can send updates of their logos, and you can switch those position anytime to ask different designers for changes.
