A few Ideas (I'm open to others) would be House(s), Key(s), Interlocking letters with name, creative word design......
I like the cartoonish look as well in design
I've also thought of having a gorilla as my mascot (I know random). I'd want to be more life like (dressed in a suit, or clothing, hanging from the name, playing with the name, doing something with a house.
