#3 logo is exactly what you don't want and is ranked 1st. How come?

I wouldn't have mentioned the "swing" idea if I didn't want someone to play with the idea. Out of 4 examples I like it the best thus far, hence the 1 ranking. I'm sure that will change as more ideas come into the contest.

I am trying to be an involved contest holder...if i'm doing something wrong or if something needs to be brought to my attention I welcome the feedback as this is my first time holding a contest.

I'd like to see someone noodle with the idea of manipulating the letters...similar to the Yahoo! logo. I've never seen the idea come to fruition and I can't guarantee that I'll like it, but I just might love it. I won't know until I see it. Thanks to who ever is bold enough to give it a go.

Let me be clear that I have ranked #39 as first only because I like the jumbled lettering look of it. I do not like the figures. I'd love to see other designers take on this concept.

Ibusse, you should ask aremmai to show you a version of #119 without the "shiny" treatment. Distinct from using the logo on the web, you may likely need the logo embroidered on hats, stamped on pens, or just printed very small on many items. The logo should still look engaging across all media. Also, is the reflection part of the logo, or is it just an effect to make it stand out as a submission? This refection makes it very difficult and costly to reproduce in many instances. Above all, a logo should be consistent, predictable, and cost-effective to reproduce.
