#16 - changed the color of the girl/book silhouette to match that of the word "BOOKS"

I like the updated teal color for books, but prefer grey for the silouette! I like a thicker font which is why some of the updated fonts where out for me.

May I ask what the difference is between #29 and 30?

Sure! #29 has a grey drop shadow on the book, and #30 has the teal blue drop shadow.

In looking at them now, I see that somehow I turned on the layer with the layer with the crown instead of the princess tiara. I'll resubmit #29 with the the tiara. If you like the teal blue drop shadow just let me know and I can submit that too.

#32 - replaced the crown on #29.

#32 is a slight variation of #8; I enlarged your name, and used a different bolder font for BOOKS.

Please let me know what you'd like me to revise/tweak. I'll adjust or add whatever you request.

Hi Pam! I am just trying to choose which one! Did you have one that was blue rather than grey for the book/girl? I'm trying to find that one.

Also, what is charge for two if I can not decide? I was thinking I would want to alternate between grey shadow and blue shadow, especially for putting logo on a backdrop. I would use both logos like a pattern. Please let me know your thoughts. I appreciate your help, your designs are amazing!

Sorry, I did find the blues! Would it be possible to create a semi circle over number #19 that says "confidence, imagination and dreams"? Like the "rainbow effect" you have in entry #41, but rather than Kate Butler Books on top, it would say Confidence, Imagination and Dreams (not sure if all lower case looks better or not?)

Also, is all blue book/girl the same blue in all? The blue is entry #16 looks brighter to me than in entry #19. Can you confirm if they are same or not?

Right now I like Entry #37 and Entry #19.

I would like to see #19 with rainbow effect over top, and also "Books" on #19 to match "Books" on #37, so making it a bit thicker/bolder.

Lastly, would it be possible to see the book/girl in pink also? So I can see difference in blue, pink and grey?

Hi Kate,
There is no extra charge for the other color version since they are just variations of the same logo. #30 has the blue shadow. I just need to put the tiara on that one.

Thanks! Ok, I see. I was not as interested in the blue shadow. More interested in the blue logo. Where the book and girl are all blue. No shadow though. Sorry I didn't communicate that better! Not sure what to call the book/girl??

I can do all the variations you requested above; but, since your contest is in judging mode, only the designer in first place can submit.

If you want to move me back to first so I can submit this evening, I will work up the variations when I get home from work.

Hi Katie,

Here are the options you requested:

#43 - this is the revision of #19. I made BOOKS bolder, and added the arced slogan over the girl/book

#44 - same as $43, but changed the girl/book graphic to pink and the slogan to the teal blue

#45 - same as #44 but I changed the book 'cover' to teal for contrast.

I checked the color of the girl/book in #16, and it's the same color as the submissions. I'm not sure why that one looks different.

Let me know if I missed anything, or if there is any other option you'd like me to submit.

I'm not sure what you mean. #46 and #44 are pretty much the same, just different color arrangement and the font of your name is different.

#37 is kind of the odd man out, because it's formatted differently, and I don't think it would work as well with the arced slogan, if you want that feature. That said, I do like #37 as well.

If you happen to decide on one of my designs, we can always tweak it in the approval stage.

Ok, yes, I wanted two different versions. That is why I was hoping for #37 as wel (without arch)l. I just don't know how that works since I'm suppose to pick one. I guess if I had to pick one, I would have to go with #44.

When I make a selection, do you then just email me the file? And is that when you can email me the different color variations? Thank you so very much for your help. It is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Kate,

When you make your selection for the winner, the final files get uploaded through LogoTournament, so you can view them and approve them. The file we upload for approval are an EPS and a jpg. You can still ask for tweaks in this approval stage. Once you approve the file, we are required to email you the rest of the files you might need, which would include a black and white version, a transparent PNG for the web, as well as the color variations you want. I can also send #37 without the arch, since it is the same graphic and not a completely different design.
