#2 I like the logo -- for a dentist. For us, though, we as our patients not to bite into apples, rather cut them up into small pieces. The irony would not be lost on them.

#4 I like this the most, but, in general, a little plainer than I hoped for. Looking for something being straightened, or braced, or smiling . . .

#17 Sorry daja, all too harsh, bold, & sharp.

#20 To me, the left side conveys motion rather than crooked to straight. All too bold and strong. Sorry, but thanks.

#22 Thanks denji, very interesting -- like it -- but too floral and "girly" for my tastes.

#21 Tegs. Thanks for the second post. I like it, but slightly too dark & sharp. If you can soften the edges (or the font), make it sage green, and make the smiley part of the K say the word orthodontics -- this would compete.

For all, why #14 is still ranked first is : best color match; font not too sharp or bold or blocky or girly -- it is soft, but not unprofessional. With 6 tiny lines (the braces), the message is immediately sent that I'm an orthodontist; and it doesn't look like Text Art from WordPerfect/Word. I find it elegant and under-stated. Either offbeatdesign lucked into clicking with me, or he/she is talented enough to "get" what I'm looking for. I'm not criticizing the others -- I could be happy with several of the others. I'm just saying that #14 will be difficult to beat. If you try, read this over a few times.

#31 When I look closely, I like it. It is like birds on a wire. At a quick glance, though, It looks like train tracks, which is the negative name called kids who have braces.

#32 Font is the same as for infant and chldrens' stuff -- like diapers. 50% of my practice is over 15 y/o.

Hello Kaplin

Please take a moment to review the "Ranking and General Tips" as compiled by one of our designers (Bugy) https://logotournament.com/forum/general_discussion/914. Also, Please consider ranking the designs rather than eliminating the points we gather are valuable even if we do not win your contest.

Hello EastCoast, I will be less harsh with the non-interested category. I was just uncluttering. Hope no one was offended. I do appreciate everyone's work. I didn't want more effort expended on ones that could not win, though.

As for my posted question about paying for a second logo, the link you sent did mention how to do that.

To All, I'm going to end the contest now. I would like to say that I really appreciate everyone's effort. There were at least 10 that would be great for my business. Save them for the next orthodontist! Thanks again. Ken Kaplin
