My submissions for your review, I like the stamp idea and agree the the original is a wee bit dated. though initially I wanted to keep the scruff boarder however with the updated text styles the grunge border was still looking out of date. The next step was to keep the same rectangle ration and keep the lines clean. these submissions keep the original quality but with a modern edge that will have a long life without being dated in the next 5 years....these style has a very long shelf life.
the icon will stand alone as a solid mark just as the original has done for the past 15 years.
Hi Scott - thank you for your submissions! The clean lines definitely give our old stamp a new modern feel.
At first glance, getting rid of the & symbol seems a little much to swallow but I understand where you're going with that, like in #15 and #16. But that does kind of go along with our fb and twitter naming convensions - so I'm not against it!
The extended K like in #13 and #15 looks kinda cool - like it's almost a spotlight on the MANAGEMENT. I also like the "motion" of the extended L in #14 - that seems like something we could extend a stripe across a truck with that, which a lot of trucking companies do lines across their trucks.
The motion of the extended letters is cool - it makes me think of a road, which plays into miles - with "we go the extra mile" slogan. Maybe a bigger play into that road would be cool?!!
