JUTLogo Design Contest

I am interested in the original, pretty, natural, little hipsters, funny, clean, smart and simple logo.
Logo will especially like embroidery on linen, websites, posters and banners flu our running race.

Jizerian mountains /in czech Jizerské hory/ are rather large hill than a mountain :)
The hills, swamps sandstone rocks and corrugated roads.

expressed on the subject of cross-country ULTRA Race in nature, there is no need in the logo only hill runners and forest roads. occurred to me to be such a funny expression. runner-faced and wide-eyed deer, or a tired runner etc....

Gentlemen, I must admit that neither any proposal'm excited.
I do not know if it is my task bad or elusive, but the results I'm very unconvinced.
I miss the joke in it, playfulness and simplicity.
I was not a literal concept, which must be a runner, mountains and green paint to make it clear that this is a race. / I am writing in addition, that the mountains in the Czech Republic are not the Alps or the Himalayas, but rather hills to 1200 m /
If I increase the budget, convince me some original ideas.

The logo does not require a runner displayed.
Our old logo had a happy skinny, funny character - we liked that basic idea.
The race happens during summer in the countryside, over hills and different terrain - race is 66 km long and demanding.
The logo should simply express love for running and movement in nature. The hills are NOT big mountains (such as the Alps).
I wanted to have these features in the logo shown in original, humorous way.Eg. A doe (female deer) that is looking at runners and does not understand (perplexed) what the runners are doing.
