Thanks so much for all your efforts. Your designs were excellent and made it extremely difficult to select a single winner. So we actually decided to utilize more than one design….since we will have multiple products and sub-brands we plan to launch. So even though your design was not the first chosen in this contest, we definitely want to work with you and the design you created. It’s awesome! Please contact me at rlapides_at_rlapides_dot_com Thanks, and I look forward to working with you! Rob Lapides. 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #51 Snake needs work. Just wanted to get this in front of you to see if you even like the idea. Gotta run to an appointment. Thx! 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #29 Withdrawn Thanks! I'll make the suggested changes and resubmit. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #29 Withdrawn Got it. Thanks. I understand it's a work in process. I like the iguana but am hoping we can refine the facial expression to something that is a bit snide and edgy - conveying the feeling of "you're in the jungle now....better be careful". I'm also thinking that we might want to modify the yellow sun background ....making it more of a dark jungle trees background so the iguana stands out more...and then change the right side spiky leaves to an orange tone color instead of the green to balance the yellow star fruit on the other side. What do you think? If you think you can work with the safari hat on the iguana and still get the facial expression, great. But if the hat is getting in your way, you can lose it. 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #29 Withdrawn Removed the hat; replaced it with an iguana wearing the hat. The iguana needs work still, and I also still need to fix the hairs on the right fruit. Just wanted you to see the progress so far. Thx! Pam 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #21 Thanks for the feedback! I like your iguana idea. And yes, I'll improve the hairs on the rambutan. Thx! Pam 5 years ago rlapides commented on #21 Great work! Sorry I mistook the original star fruit for bananas :), but the fruits you have in this version look much better. Any chance you can make the hairs on the fruit on the right, which I assume is rambutan, stand out a bit more? Also I'm thinking in the center where you have the hat we could put a snide looking iguana like this: https://depositphotos.com/83743546/stock-illustration-iguana-cartoon.html and he could be wearing your safari hat. Then we could lose the insect under the name. What do you think? 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #21 A revision of #19. Let me know what you'd like changed. Thx! Pam 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #19 Hi Rob, Thanks for the feedback! I'll revise my design accordingly and resubmit. Just an FYI - the fruits I depicted are a single star fruit (I guess my depiction looks more like a bunch of bananas. LOL), a dragon fruit, and a passion fruit. I'll change the fruits - maybe showing a cross section instead of the entire fruit. And I'll add a jungle critter. Thx! Pam BTW - after the first round is over, only the Top 5 ranked designers in your contest can submit entries. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #19 Hi Pam. Thanks so much for offering your idea on this campaign. I really like the colors you used as well as showing off some of the fruits. Some initial reactions: (1) We probably won't use the "Inc." in the brand because it will be displayed in multiple countries. (2) you might google some of the exotic fruits I mentioned in the company description and use a few in the illustration to make the graphic more exotic vs. the typical bananas, etc. (3) We're really trying to convey a feeling of mystery and adventure with a healthy dose of "edginess". Maybe there could be a jungle character or creature of some type that could convey this feeling. Just some initial thoughts. I really think you're on to something with the colors and basic layout and hope we can work on this as we complete the first round of the contest. If you'd like to provide some modifications based on my feedback, that would be great. Otherwise, I'll be back to you once we finish the initial round of the contest. Thanks! Rob 5 years ago rapunzel commented on #19 Hi, Please let me know if you'd like revisions. I'd be happy to provide them. Feedback welcomed! Thanks! Pam 5 years ago
