Best Fracco 5 years ago rlapides commented on #41 Withdrawn Hi Fracco. Thanks so much for all your efforts. Your designs were excellent and made it extremely difficult to select a single winner. So we actually decided to utilize more than one design….since we will have multiple products and sub-brands we plan to launch. So even though your design was not the first chosen in this contest, we definitely want to work with you and the design you created. It’s awesome! Please contact me at rlapides_at_rlapides_dot_com Thanks, and I look forward to working with you! Rob Lapides. 5 years ago Fracco commented on #41 Withdrawn Hi! Sure, after the contest be completed, You'll be able to download the 1st ranked logo from this same site (logotournament.com) With the contest completed, we can exchange emails for future work or modifications if needed. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #41 Withdrawn Hi Fracco. Question: If we move forward with this concept and we wish to make future modifications or versions, are you available to do this? How does it work? 5 years ago rlapides commented on #41 Withdrawn Thanks. Getting final input from folks and will be back to you a bit later today Rob 5 years ago rlapides commented on #30 Withdrawn I totally understand that you want to respect other designers' concepts, but the animal is only one element of the design and does not represent the overall concept in and of itself. As you can see, more than one designer used the toucan already. In any case, I'm not stuck on a monkey or iguana so if you come up with a different animal that is compelling with the facial expression we're looking for, great. But if you do decide to use a monkey or iguana, I don't think that's a problem either. Also keep in mind that once we select the final design, we hope to continue working with the designer for additional versions and sub-brands as we progress with the business.... I appreciate all your efforts on this. Rob 5 years ago Fracco commented on #30 Withdrawn Hi, I choose the toucan cause his natural colors bring life to the logo and is easy to the customer to relate the colors with fruits. Also is a tropical animal. The monkey, is high related with bananas, the iguana sounds better, unfortunately that is an idea Rapunzel already did on the contest. I'm thinking in a new animal, that can fit on the concept. I'll return with it asap. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #30 Withdrawn So the feedback I'm getting is really positive. Folks love the font style and coloring of the name. One consistent piece of feedback is on whether we might consider a different animal instead of the toucan...mostly because the toucan has been done many times already and it’s hard to put a facial expression on it. What we’re thinking about is an iguana or monkey holding a piece of exotic fruit that still has the stem & leaf on it (maybe rambutan?) and with a snide facial expression like he just stole it from the jungle and got away with it. The facial expression is key here – we don’t want “happy”…we want “snide or sneaky” along with seeing the piece of exotic fruit with its stem and leaf. Also can we enhance the fruit that makes the dot in the I for FRUIT so that it is a bit more realistic as the fruit the animal will be holding - if it's rambutan more hairs are needed, etc. What do you think? 5 years ago Fracco commented on #30 Withdrawn Sure, I'll work in the changes asap. Good night. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #30 Withdrawn Very cool! I'm getting feedback from some of my work colleagues and will give you more feedback soon. Thanks! 5 years ago Fracco commented on #30 Withdrawn Thank you for the ranking. 5 years ago Fracco commented on #13 Withdrawn Thank you for your words, changes uploaded, the word Inc. Can be replaced as you mentioned. Hope the changes are correct with your request. Regards. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #12 Withdrawn I love the brands you've done that have an "attitude" like: What The Duck, Puny Condoms, Swamp Butt, Judo Lisy, Junarios, and many more. You have an awesome style. I can hardly wait to see how you create a real "dangerous adventure" attitude with the graphic you do for us! Also FYI, we'll have a number of sub-brands we'll need to create once this first brand is established as the foundation for the company. Thanks. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #12 Withdrawn Maybe we can use the wood sign in your graphic for the name of a specific fruit we are selling...as an idea. 5 years ago rlapides commented on #12 Withdrawn Hi. Thanks for submitting. I love the colors and the toucan! And I took a look at your other work displayed on logotournament.com. I think your style is exactly what we are looking for. We're looking for a brand that will have a "soul" as you put it. Something that will definitely attract attention and stick with consumers. What I would ask is that you play with this first design you made and make it more "edgy" with a bit of "dangerous adventure" to the theme....maybe playing with the color scheme a bit...maybe have a small exotic fruit in the toucan's mouth with him smiling like he just stole something and got away with it. Same with the Jungle Fruit font - trying to make it feel edgy and a bit dangerous. Also, we will probably not use the "Inc." in the graphic because it will be seen in multiple countries. I hope we can work with you to come up with a really cool and unique look. Thanks! 5 years ago
