Thanks for your efforts. I've been somewhat frustrated with most artists' submissions thus far. I'm looking for something that would look good on the front of an album cover. Even the most revered guitar players wouldn't use any kind of guitar icon on an album cover. I want some funky retro-styled font that's just my name. If that included some very subtle reference to guitar playing it could be fine, but I haven't seen anything subtle enough yet. I haven't gotten any straight out groovy fonts with shadowing or effects yet. I know it's not the norm to have a bonafide logo when you're just using your name, that's much more common when using a band name. I was hoping for something identifiable and recognizable that could create a congruent look between album covers, web site and promo stuff. Thank you again for your contributions.

Finally some cool stuff to choose from. Thank you. I like #46 better, easier to read. Would it be possible to try it in say red and yellow, or yellow and green (like Beach Boys Pet Sounds album colors), or maybe yellow and black (if that's not too bumblebee-looking). I wonder if it would look good with a reflection of the letters underneath or shadowed letters. I also had a great idea as I was sitting in front of my Fender amp. How about something similar to the Fender logo? Julian going up on a slant and Scott straight across below it, both in chrome with a little depth to the letters? The N at the end of Julian could tie into a line underneath it just like the Fender logo does??? Chrome would go great on any background colors I put it on too. Here are examples:

Hey, you did some nice work. Thank you so much. I definitely like your stuff the best. Not sure how it works, but if I can't decide on one design, can you send me more than one, or even all of them? It's difficult to commit to one style of logo as a solo artist. Much more common to have a definitive logo as a band. I see solo artists using different font/artwork on every album cover. Just want to ask a few friends what they like and see if they suggest a change or two that I can maybe request from you. Are you open to a few color suggestions? Not asking for new designs, just swap colors here and there? I imagine I could put them in Photoshop if I wanted to and do different tweaks from time to time also.
Hi, I'm actually not allowed to discuss sending additional files until the contest is complete. There are some dihonest people who use a tactic where they will offer the contest holder additional work for free in the hopes of winning a contest. Its considered dirty play and is frowned upon, and can result in getting banned. I have always strived to be honest here and abide by the rules. I am more than willing to discuss it when the contest is complete, and I am very sorry for any frustration this may cause you, but I cannot break the rules. I do hope you understand.
Sorry about the confusion. I thought it was ok to suggest final design changes in that stage. I ended the contest early and selected your design. Do you have an objection to letting me have more than one of your designs?
