~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.

2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points

#5 - i like the idea of the light bulb, maybe try it with a tv and joomla the lightbulb with joomla logo in the tv screen or something... try with some slicker fonts.. sharp fonts.
#6 - same thing try crisp sharper fonts, try other things with learning, or videos, ..books, dvds, tv,

#7 i like it, its nice, clean, love the slogan maybe try some color in the site name, try making it sharper font, more crips. maybe try putting something on tv screen? try the joomla logo. Also maybe try adding tv antenna to it.

#29 i really like it, maybe try adding like a spark to one of the antennas or to both, also make slogan color different then site name color.
#26 see what it looks like with the green background, i like direction ur going with the graduate silhouette with cap on.
#20 is looking good, can u make it a big dot for .com i like how u did that.

i really like the creativity used in logo #32 but is there a way to make the professor stick out more, but without overpowering the Joomla? cant wait to see it.

#29 i really like how he used the brown for the TV, and how he used the colors for the bottons on the tv, as well as the logo of Joomla on the tv screen. maybe make it so it looks like its an actual screen with some shading? try it out.

#20 i like how you did the dot com going upwards. i would like to see u put a big dot though in front of the com also i think the green TV is to much, try brown, or another color, . Its hard to chose i like them all ALOT

sonehs, you need to be sure you can use Joomla's logo and if you have their permission make sre to follow their condidtional use of logos:

#36 looks awesome man looks alot better then the green tv, still not sure about this tv thou or the shading used on it. Try using a lighter brown, and try messing with other fonts, lets see how it comes out. Your on the right track.

The joomla logo may not be used - it is a copyrighted logo.

I just wanna point out to the staff of logotournament.com who has taken it UPON themselfs to determine if Joomla allows myself to use the joomla logo IN my logo...

so i believe it is logotournament who has inconvenienced myself and my logo designers.... would appreciate if you take off ur block for my logos so i may have them back in contest... thanks

The issue is Selling we are selling designs there for we cannot add the joomla icon period..if after the contest is over and you select a winner you then can add the joomla Icon but you will not legally be able to select a winner with a joomla icon because the designer would be selling the icon which is not permitted. hope that clarifies things.

My advice is not to go with traditional logos that every other joomla site is using rather come up with a cool design and add the joomla icon directly to your site...

however can we use the word "joomla' legally we'd be selling a name of an existing product and service...

the staff emailed me saying they would allow them back into contest but still hasnt done anything....

My apologies for Ivan`s firmness. We do tend to approach IP issues with caution for the protection of all parties.

If you post in your contest that you accept responsibility for the inclusion of the Joomla in your logo, even though LogoTournament advises against it, I will have no problems reinstating those entries. Personally I feel that an open source organization isn`t out to get anyone legally, but we do want to be careful.
