#68 just to let you know i have cs5 at work and cs4 at home...so i now have your original file ..i have some more ideas..but haven't had chance as of yet
I like what you have done with it but I am concerned what it will look like on white paper. The logo looks good on black for the web and business cards but how do you think it will look on white? Can you lighten the contrast a bit? Also I like what #64 has done with the letter styles one being over the other with the line under but I don't like his coloring and I think a different font would look better. Overall I like how you have brought the logo off the page and gave it depth.
My apologies, I loaded the wrong design to the site. I meant for the cube to have the lines like #20. I was experimenting with multiple designs and I loaded the wrong one. Can you make the logo lines follow that, like your #37 and #40.
OK. I understand. I am away to visit family Sunday but should be able to work on this in the evening U.K time..will need to reconfigure the basic design first... how to do fit in with transparencies as some media will struggle with them for the final product (inquire with your printers..etc) applying transparencies will give a greater 3d effect and will react with the background colors what ever they are.??? anyway thanks for the opportunity ..i am loving working on your project.
Thanks, your work is great. I plan on having black business cards and background for the web. But as far as a letterhead goes it will be on white paper. It doesn't have to be perfect for the letterhead but I would like the basic shape and fade of the letters to look good in grayscale.
lol.. your problem is that true grey is between 100 and 0 tonally @ 50.. in order to create a 3d effect on white the area between the cube is also white so there is no defintion between this and the cube...i have compromised the white background with a suttle grey gradient in order to reinforce the whiter highlights of the cube.
ps there are no transparencies in any of these designs so no problem on white or black ..so long as it is a true black or true white.
I like the fade in #95 but I like the defined JL in #97. Also can you have a look at #64, I like how he has done the letters but I'm not crazy about the coloring. Your designs give it an excellent 3D look.
I'm really sorry...your contest time ends 7.00pm over here...and i am in work till 6.30pm.
i will be unable to make adjustments in time..i have a designer friend who may be able to suggest alternative fonts which complement the design better..i will ask him to take a look.
I like what you have done but I like what #64 has done with the letters. I don't like the colors in it though. Can you do that same style but a better color match and fade. Thanks
I understand. I like what you can do with your shading better than the other guys but I do like the style of letters they have. This makes it a tough decision.
