Jim WernigLogo Design Contest

We own two GM dealerships, one rooftop is Chevrolet, the other is Buick and GMC. We want to focus on "Jim Wernig" and add the brands later to differentiate between the two. Preferably make the "Jim" smaller and the Wernig bigger. We need something that will look good on something as small as a license plate bracket, but work for something as big as a billboard. We'd like something "elevated/modern" while still being eye catching and grounded. We would like eye catching color, but have it also work if we needed to print it in black and white.

Because we are planning to use this for two different rooftops, as a "family brand" we would like it to be colorful and eye-catching while not contrasting the brand colors. We are looking for a brand tag that will compliment all 3 brands.
Chevrolet is Gold/Blue/Gray and Buick + GMC is Dark Red, Silver and Blue (reference the brand logos).

We would like to focus more on "Wernig" and make the "Jim" smaller if possible. We are looking for something that is easily recognizable on something as small as a license plate bracket but will also look great on apparel, business cards, letterhead, etc.
This will be a "rebranding" as we are a well established business that has been around since 1977. Currently we do not have a "logo", we have a block of text. Blah! We are looking to become more modern, elevated, eye-catching, and noticeable - like our competitors.
