Here are a couple of more modern compasses in 2 shades of darker purple

I'm researching Prince further to see what I can come up with. I'll change the purple too and try out some variations of compass. This is why I went with a compass, its acceptable for a law firm, a message of navigating clients through complex legal twists and turns, while also being a reference to Prince. I will try to think of something else before the deadline, too.

Also, it may be my computer screen, but if not, can you make the compass rose a purple, DEEP purple.

Right now the logo in 1st place has no reference to Prince other than the color. As much as I want something like this included, as I said, I am being disciplined and making sure the logo comes first before my personal preferences!

However, any other idea you have along the same lines of using some "deep" reference will be great. I wish I could be more specific, but if I had any skills at this, I would have tried to do it myself instead of coming to the professionals!

Inspired by the title/song titles of Prince's N.E.W.S. album. A compass is a nod to that. I can do more of a traditional compass if wanted, with more detail etc.
