I am not trying to incorporate my DJ career into the logo. My apologies if my description led to that conclusion.

Sorry for my vagueness. I don't like the "block" style. I know that is not helpful as I've provided what might be better.

I don't like the incorporation of the L. I know why it is there, but to me, at first sight it appears to indicate my initials are JL.

per the instructions, the Starfish and Coffee was just an example, not a request. I went back and edited the instructions to emphasize that it was just an example. I apologize if it was not clearer in the initial description. At least two other people did the same thing so I am sure it was my fault, so I do apologize.

One other note for future designs. Please do not include the Prince symbol at all. It is copyrighted therefore I cannot use it in advertising.
