I think it is a good thought too. It's polite and detailed, I respect it.
Of course I will give some color choices. Even I will give them different colors and sent directly to your email, after the contest ends.

Well, I am shocked I picked one that is also popular with "the masses" (I did one of the surveys).

The ONLY complaint I got from a couple of people was I should lose the "gradient". I am glad I now know what the proper term for it is.

However, that is one of the things I like about it. The counterpoint made to me when I said that is that it is current "in fashion" but will look dated in several years, if not sooner.

I am no expert. I have no clue.

However, I did want to ask, and I do not know what is "proper" vs "rude" so if this falls into the latter category, please forgive me.

When I get the files, is it possible to also get one with it having the same color but no gradient? In my simpleton mind, that is just you clicking a couple of buttons therefore, not a "new design." But, I know from being in the DJ world, many times think asking for something extra is "just X" when in fact it is extra work for me and work for which I would/should charge.

Do not feel obligated to honor my request, I am 95% sure I am going with this design. I just wanted to ask before I clicked the winner.

If I am wrong in my assumption, then I ask that you please do one exactly like this, but without the gradient so I can decide if I want to go ahead and choose just the solid color.

Thank you for everything and I apologize if I have been more demanding/picky than most clients, especially since I did not pick a larger prize amount!

This is still number 1. Can you do one exactly the same as this, but as it will appear when it is photocopied? I want to see how the purple with the bright point and fade looks when this gets faxed or photocopied.

I think it's fine, even looks good. The black is clear and make the purple look standout.
All in purple is good too. Make the logo color in tune.

This is currently in first place, but I just don't know if mixing black and purple is going to work. Feel free to tell me I am wrong and that they mix just fine. But, could you also do this in all purple and let me see if I like that? Please use the same purple in the name. You are the only one who has used a purple I like. All of the others are too "pink" if that makes sense.
