#1 is A good start. I love the book. the star is too old fashioned and static. The book sends one message...maybe movement could be added by adding smaller stars in motion, or making the design in a circular image rather than a "straightforward" one.

I like the ones where the jewish star is not so prominent. Anyone want to do a logo that gives a totally circular impression...where the JCC letters somehow form the shape of the logo? Also, Greenwich can be smaller or shadowed or mirrored.
