Hello! My Entries - #40 and #39 - Overlaying Heart concept formed in letters. #41 - An Abstract JC in a form of Spiral, #42 is a watermark which you might need for your photos. Feedback is much appreciated. ^_^ v
#41 is very eye-catching. What I like: - Unique, visually-appealing design symbol. - Great color scheme. - Love the hint of the reflection under the "J". - I love how you included the watermark for photos.
Modifications that might appeal to me: - Although the symbol is appealing, it's not in line with my brand. Some colleagues gave me their initial impressions, and although they liked it, it reminded them of something tribal, or the ying-yang symbol. I'd like my logo to bring to mind luxury and romance. - Explore further the use of an emblem. Possibly incorporate a family crest or floral grunge.
#39 and #40 are nice, but give off a feeling of youth. True, the hearts may invoke a sense of romance, but overall the "JC" looks too youthful. I'm looking for something more sultry and sophisticated. Hope that helps :-)
I like your style and look forward to further submissions!
I like #54 -- thank you for updating your design. Ponetz, I'd love to see a variation that changes the swirl design of the "JC". I really like your creativity, and would be very interested to see this. The JC swirls are attractive, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Could you come with a different concept for the "JC" part of the logo?
By the way, I love how you added the floral grunge elements in the top right corner. Super cool.
#67 is gorgeous. Very, very nice. Instantly my top choice, as of the current time. I have a minor update request I'd be curious about... - A version with slightly different colors. Change the grey square in the insignia to a lighter shade, and make the "jc" and "design" a lighter/brighter shade as well? - If you don't mind, I'd also like to see a couple of other different color (or just shade) combinations that you might find appealing, keeping in line with the black, white, and blue scheme that you currently have.
Also wanted to ask... would you be able to include the insignia by itself (the "JC" conjunction in the square) as one of the files that I would receive in addition to the complete logo file?
Thanks, Ponetz. You are very talented -- I look forward to your continued participation!
By the way, with regards to your question about the final file, you will a receive an EPS file which is completely vector, can be resize without losing its quality and a large jpeg file. If you want also to receive the insignia just feel free to send a private message to the designer, as you can see, a designer cannot send a message to a contest holder unless he receives first the message and replies to it. Cheers!
Thank you for the updates, as well as your comments/answers to my questions. I am doing very well, thanks asking! Super busy :-)
Currently, #83 is my favorite variation that you've provided. One thing that I can't seem to completely embrace is the color of the "C" in the insignia. It makes me want to revert back to #67, although I like the blues in #83. Hmmmm.... let me think about this.
Wow, Ponetz. You've done it again... #95 dropped my jaws. Simply spectacular! I actually paused and stared at your design for a while. Everything is much more in line with my ongoing requests to see a more elaborate "crest insignia style with floral grunge". This style is what I've been looking and asking for since the beginning of the tournament.
A couple of variations I'd like to see: - The circular insignia is beautiful. And I LOVE how you added depth, dimension, and reflective qualities with the floral grunge. As far as the insignia's shape, however, I'm very attracted to crests (aka shields). Would it be possible to see a crest instead of the circle shaped insignia? If it's too difficult, that's ok. I may stick with the circular shape (it's still very attractive), but I might like a crest/shield even more :-) - Very, very creative use of the Mistral font I was requesting earlier in the tournament. Thank you for paying attention to the comments. I think your idea of including a ribbon under the crest is awesome! May I see a version using a different font? My company is considering letting go of the use of the Mistral font altogether. Feel free to use another font that you think would work well with your design. - And finally, I realize blue is sometimes a difficult color to see on top of black. Could you make the shade of blue used for the text "image" a tad lighter (but of course staying within your color scheme)?
Thanks a million, Ponetz. Your participation and creativity have been very enjoyable.
Once again, you implemented my requests beautifully. Thank you.
While I enjoyed all the changes, my favorite update you incorporated into #103 is the creative split tone of the colors for "image", allowing potential clients to better see the text on top of the black background. My request was actually simply for a lighter shade of blue, but I much prefer what you did! Outstanding.
I'd be curious to see just one change. In #95, I like how the circular insignia really stood out. Because I prefer the design of #103, I'd be curious to see how the design looked if the crest outline was thickened by just a bit so it stands out more. Just a little.
That's it! Pls let me know if possible. Thank you, Ponetz Graphics.
