Mungki - I really like the strength of the lettering in your concepts, especially entry #8. It looks great here with the black ground making it very dramatic, but a big black square won't work well on stationery. We need a logo design that works on a conventional white stationery background.
Could we see what entries #8 and #31 look like with a real "B" (i.e. a B with a backbone, rather than one that is blended into the J). Also, we'd like to see #31 with a less shiny gradient of silver (the streaks of white shine in it are too pronounced).
Hi, Mungki- we like a number of your designs. For entry # 32, could you add a back to the "B"? On your latest entry (#164), we like the way you tried to add some green to brighten up the oval - don't think we're quite there yet - seems a bit chopped up. But like the new font of "stainless". Thanks for all your effort-
Mungki - you have many great designs! We are pooling some feedback and wonder if you could take #54 and do the word "stainless" in a darker, brighter green that would show up better? Thanks!
Dear Mungki, We have always been most taken with the look of stainless steel that you've managed to do with the gradient effect. However, we've just been advised that this will not translate well on print materials and that we should use silver rather than a graded shading. Also, that we should aim for 2 color logo rather than 3 to keep costs down.
thanks so much for your quick efforts to provide options in 2 colors - is there a "silver" that's not graded? I'd rather lose the green and try silver/black???
appreciate your speedy response - the flat silver color doesn't make anywhere near the impact of the graded silver variation. We'll just have to figure out how to translate that in print.
Please tell me if there are improvements needed on the design that I created. And if there are less than satisfactory, I will immediately make changes to my design.
dear Mungki- could you please make one last adjustment? We'd like to see #184 with a solid black ground in the background of the oval instead of any green. Thanks
Thanks for all your hard work. We are going to choose entry #184, with these adjustments:
Please make the background in the JBF oval black (rather than green) -- but leave the lettering and stainless oval as is, it looks great. Then, for the "stainless" box, please make the background in there black as well, and adjust the color of the green letters to a slightly darker shade, like it is in entry #199.
One last thing, once the above changes are made to entry #184:
We'd like the final file to be delivered in an EPS, but we will also need the layered design files & a jpeg. Also, please have the color makeup in RGB, CMYK, and PMS.
Again, thanks for your wonderful designs. It has been great working with you.
I made another 3 design alternatives so that you can choose which ones suit your interests. Also please give me your email address, so I can send files in the format, RGB, CMYK, and PMS. Because in the final upload I can only send in EPS and JPG format only.
Dear Mungki- thank you so much for all your work on our new business! We love the new submissions and have only one last request. In #236, the green color in the box that says "stainless" is darker than the green in #199 entry. Is it possible to replicate the color green that's in #199 so it shows up a bit more against the black?
The email adress to send the files is : jakefeldmeier@gmail.com
Again, many thanks for both your creativity and your diligence.
