I don't think saxophones were invented yet. Think chamber music. Or else you could music staff & notes in your design. Where is the representation of "art"? Also need some representation of the regency era.

I like the lady better than the amorphous swirl. Regency era - late 18th - early 19th century. Jane Austen lived 1775-1817. Keeping the skyscape to represent Chicago is ok.

The convention theme is the arts & we'd like to see that represented. This means we need something showing all the arts - art, music, dance, theater in the logo. Otherwise this logo could be used for any year & any region's meeting no matter the theme of the convention.

Very pretty but the lady isn't regency era nor did you pick up the convention theme of the arts.
