OH and also for #75, can you try two other options: 1) make "Jane Austen" red and the rest of the text black and 2) make "Greater Chicago Region" red and the rest of the text black?
The board is reacting very favorably to your 2 quill designs but we're having lots of delightful trouble determing which one we like better. People are responding quite positively to the rounded version of the quill as they love the sweep of it & the arc framing the words. Also love that the Austen font was used. The big, big downside, which is much better seen in the straight on version of the quill, is that the skyline gets totally lost in the curved version. Is there some way we can merge the best of the 2 designs?
I made some changes. Compositions and proportions have been improved also the colours. In my opinion logo is more balanced now. In #94 #95 I had put closer silhouettes of buildings so they fit on the background of quill. I think the Chicago skyline is still identifiable however I have never been in Chicago, I know this city merely from the photos, so I'm not sure for 100% :) I look forward to your opinion.
