Open to pretty much anything!
Would like a beef (not dairy) cow incorporated in the logo. Have attached a drawing (no rights) of a beef heifer we like. It is important to us that the drawing is of a good quality animal if the whole animal is in the logo; many clip art beef cows we have found on the internet do not show good build/structure, but this can be tweaked in the final stages. Our cattle are mostly Angus/Simmental and I have included a few pictures we have taken around the farm for reference.
We also want the logo to communicate that our farm is more than just beef cattle. Maybe include green grass, golden fields and blue sky and sun?
Our company name is Jackknife Creek Land & Cattle, so could incorporate a creek/river/stream, and a large portion of our land has creeks running through. Or could do a literal interpretation and a drawing of a jackknife?
We are also open to a design that focuses on our initials (JCLC) and in smaller lettering have Jackknife Creek Land & Cattle
We have looked at some other logos and the ones that we tend to be most attracted to had a clean, simple style to them.
Here is a link to our website (still a work in progress) that may provide more insight into our farm and family.

Logo will primarily be used on website and invoices, but don't want to limit ourselves if in the future want to apply the logo to other material.

https://logotournament.com/contests/feeder-associations-of-alberta-limited Neat how this one had the sun incorporated into the logo
https://logotournament.com/contests/nisqually-springs-farm This one is too complex for our preferences

https://logotournament.com/contests/bautz-farm We like this one too - their business seems very similar to ours. Like how it incorporates both beef and grain, but is still clean and simple. The drawing of the heads of the cow and bull are also good quality.
Attached is one (very rough and poorly drawn!) concept we came up with, but again, very open
