I wanted to create a logo with a unique handmade font. So that no logo would look like this one. The logo has a natural flow to it that gives it more creative feel. Like the natural motion of a needle sewing its way through fabric.
The fabricroll is represented in colours above the letter T.
Critique is welcome. Let me know if you have some ideas to improve this logo. I will look for other ways myself to.
I prefer #94 over #91 because the i is in a different colour, so people will better understand the name. I like the way you incorporated the fabric roll. I will discuss with my partner to see if there are ways to improve it. But I like the simplicity and the 'flow'.
Thanx! I'm looking for ways to improve it myself to. I'll probably post some versions later on. Feel free to bin them if they aren't an improvement in your opinion.
#111 the only difference is in the circles above the T. I feel they have better proportions now.
#112 Looked for ways to improve the flow. So i added some shadowing where lines overlap eachother. I actually prefer the simple version though (111). It's stronger and .. dunno.. more honest/ pure(?).
Okay. I don't see anything juvenile about it to be honest. Unless she means the simplicity. It's a carefully designed logo. Simple, strong and unique. Handmade from the ground up. The font doesn't even exist.
I tried to think of ways to improve it, but i couldn't. Personally i'm very happy with it.
But i can understand you want to be in peace with your partner ;P
To be honest, I really like this design. As you point out, it's very unique and personally I like simple designs over more complicated ones.
However, I can live with the other design and my business partner really feels strongly about. So I;m sorry. But if you're interested I might have some other jobs for you because I've seen your site and like your work.
Don't worry, i understand. This is part of the contest. I'm glad you like it. For me it's important to design logo's i can stand behind. Logo's that i would place on my own port-folio.
I feel this logo works well on any size. Be it a label, a business card, or a billboard. Dunno, it just clicks for me. So i can't really feel bad.
