Slogan
Fully Automatic Aircraft Starting
What We Do
This product allows the pilot of small general aviation aircraft (Cessnas, Pipers, etc.) to start the aircraft's engine by simply "pushing a single, red "START" button." Believe it or not, starting a small aircraft engine is nothing like starting a car. The pilot must set many engine controls manually and starting is often very trying and difficult. This system we are developing will make it as simple as starting a new Corvette or VW with a simple, red "START" button - our product takes over the complexities of setting the engine controls automatically for the pilot.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

What an awesome set of first round designs. Nice work everyone! We like #1 as it conveys a spinning propeller however, piston aircraft engines rotate the opposite direction, so please reverse the "whisps" on the propeller tips accordingly. The 3D 'depth' of #2 is really neat! The "push button" styling of #4 and #5 was exactly what we had in mind originally. Maybe lighten the boldness of the typeface just a bit. We like the "shinyness" of #2, #5, and #6!

Awesome everybody. It hurts to have to pick only one! I think we are most intrigued by the logos that look like the "push-to-start" buttons found on today's cars. We like the button in #22 and the angle of #27. We like the design of the button label in #63. We'd like to see a button that has that little LED light like real automotive "push-to-start" buttons have these days. Maybe the LED light could be the dot over the "i" in iStart or just centered where it should be over the text.
