Good eye, please take out ice background. Place Islanders logo on puck, make tape more prominent on stick head. Also, arrange logo so it reads as Islanders Hockey Academy. Maybe you can also add some highlight areas to the type face. Nice job, keep going!

I also used the colors from your original logo. They are a little bit brighter than those on my first design. I can put them back if you like those darker colors. Thanks.

Entry #8 looks good, type now underneath becomes hard to read with stick going through it, perhaps have stick go behind so orange lays over stick making it easier to read. Thanks.
