Island Surf Co.Logo Design Contest

I like the palm tree, but it looks a little tall. Also, the font is too thin. I just don't think it will stand out enough

Hi thanks for the feedback, I agree the logo is a bit mellow, I will keep it on file but I have a few
alternate versions too present.. this one is the furthest one away from the original, I have a couple more
that are more like the original one but a bit bolder.

may be my fav one, i dig this the most i think out of the others, maybe it's rich black and the decal capabilties
in a car sticker etc

I do like 21 and 24. This looks like it could emboss on the side of our boat shoes and look good in the sockliner of the shoe.

Hey Mike ... Check these logos out, some good ones already but I've been surfin for 20 years and I would buy something that had a decal like this one with the name island surf co. .... Great idea you had with the longboard too by the way!

I really like the figure holding the longboard (149-150). It could make for a pretty cool t-shirt. It wouldn't really work on a shoe though because it has to fit in a small space. I would love to see something with the "Island" written above "surf co" and then a more compact icon of your surfer either holding the board upright or carrying a shorter board.

hmm........... ok, well Mike I am going surfing the next few days and will have a think on it...
#150 would still work small.. not much works small, end bunched up it gets cluttered and too try hard..

check out the latest one posted one with the surf and words boxed up into a square shape. instead of rectangle.
see what you think - gotta go surf and should be back by saturday as the hours to the end of contest get closer..(and the surf drops off)

I reeally like the surfer icon. I would like to see it without the wave and in a two color combo with Island and Surf

I think this logo could be a great combo of both a vintage look and a has the icon that could really stand out. Have fun surfing and if you could get a copy of one with out the background that would be great.

Yeah Mike I think it's all about a clean use of space and form to push these designs into their own look,
A little more refined to that of the look that the brand 'Golden Breed' have done..That's where this can work with a diverse range of surf and boating hungry people...

thanks for choosing that sneakstudio guy over my design - I am so pleased with the outcome of
my original thought how the surfer and board could work together.. Unfortunately I will now have to submit to all the contests that sneakstudios is entering and I will be submitting designs as close as possible to the concepts he submits...how does that sound?
