What We Do
We are a nonprofit focused on protecting the environment in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We have programs that address natural resource management as well as advocate for change in legislation that will protect our natural resources. Our target audience is anyone interested in creating a healthy environment and particularly those who love the Virgin Islands.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
We like the idea of incorporating aspects of the island's native flora, mountains, and water in some sort of flowing cicular motion that could also represent circular economy, which is a central theme of our work. See the attachment #3. Our programs include an aluminum can recycling program, a mulching program, a composting program and the island's only reuse/thrift store. We have helped work on the ban for toxic sunscreens to the islands as well as plastic straw and plastic bag bans. We are looking for something that captures the fun spirit of living on a beaufiful island but that also represents the professional organization that we are without being too stiff or cartooney. It should look neat enough to put on a hat or shirt for tourists to consider buying. There is the possibility to just use "Island Green" or "Island Green Living" in the logo vs our entire name "Island Green Living Association" if this helps with design.
