In this idea I am capturing a young looking image, with a little playfulness in the word "photography" (tweaking the letters to make them look like a happy face).
I totally saw the happy face! Especially in Entry #6 - even before I opened up your entries. BUT I'm not sure others will see it? (I did show #6 to two people and they never saw it at all...) Does that make sense? I really do like the idea of a happy face, though!!!!!
Thank you so much for your entries! I smiled at 6 :)
Thank you for your comments! I thought it was very representative of your work. The advantage of this is that you could use it as a short mark (that's what I would call it) along with your initials to watermark your pictures, instead of having to use the whole logo. I'm posting two more images, one with the smiley a little bit more obvious, and the other one demonstrating what I want to say with the "short mark".
Okay, I flat out love Entry #41 and love the idea of the short mark with #42. I might not use it to watermark images, just because SOOOO much of my referrals come from facebook and they wouldn't know who IS is - does that make sense? But, I could use it on other parts of my website!!!
So, here's what I'm thinking so far, and I realize there are still 2 days left for this competition thing. There's another entry that a designer really made straight from looking at the wallpaper on my blogsite. I'm flat out in love with the simplicity and the smiley face of your design, but I love how his ties in with the color scheme of what I've got already. (I know, I sound insane right now, probably, and I'm no designer, so you can call me weird..) But I think I'm caught between you two right now. And that's where I stand. And I wish I could better explain myself.
I thank you again for this. It's really so coooooollll!!!!!!
Hehe no problem Isabel. Here I am looking into making the mark match a little bit more with what you have already. I have a version with just the colors I'm using at the moment. The other one matches the color scheme you have on your website. Please give me some feedback on this when you're able.
Thank you very much for your comments! I really appreciate it!
Okay, can I pull out the crazy guns and ask to see the other same design that matches the color scheme I have? And could I ask to see one with red in there some how? Red is my favorite color, but I know it's a zinger of a color to use.....I think there's just a tiny part of me that wishes it could be incorporated some how.
I'm sorry I'm crazy and it takes me so long to make up my mind!
Wow you are fast! I like it, but I don't like the color of the orange in 'sam' - it reminds me of my little guy's vomit. It's really nothing against you. He's just really little and totally doesn't understand that you should run to the toilet if you are vomiting. Augh.
Sorry about that. I'm sure you don't need to think of that now!!!!!!!!!!
Eh, I think the originals are better. I seriously have got to sit down and decide this. Thank you!!!!! And thank you for all the other silly colors you did for me too. I feel like I'm a diva or something now!
You're welcome. The best interest here is that you leave happy with the product at the end!
In terms of the color combination, my humble opinion is that since the predominant color in your site is black, and purple and turquoise are amongst the colors used, the colors for this image wouldn't be much of a big trouble to place in there. But if you have any revisions to do with the current images, please do not hesitate on letting me know.
