Iron MarriageLogo Design Contest

As iron sharpens iron, one person sharpens another.

We are launching a platform that inspires couples to strengthen their marriage through the shared goal of training for and participating in various triathlons together. (5k, 10k, 13.1 70.3 140.6 ) In Phase one we are creating a Facebook Group, website, and we want to sell product. (Similar but unrelated to Iron Man.) That's where you come in: We need a killer logo that makes selling merchandise sell itself. We want it clean, appeals to both sexes, and immediately creates brand identification. While our logo is from Proverbs 27:17, we want to appeal to the masses.

We haven't chosen our color scheme yet, so use what you feel works with your design best.
Red and black tend to be popular in our genre, so either add a third color or a different pairing to help us stand apart from the crowd.

We're totally open to your creativity. We were tossing around ideas about two rings (representing marriage), the rings incorporated into bike wheels, or using something similar to the attached file. However, we want to see what you can come up with!
Let's make it simple...less is more. We would love for it to include bike, swim, run imagery.
