Black Iron or grey/slate.. needs to feel modern but have a sense of timlessness. Possibly a cut out of steel.. need a logo that can be tangible, on the building, on menus, on uniforms, etc

Our Ideas & Additional Information

the idea or concept behind the name is Byron Nelson and his accomplishments as a golfer and his influence on the game. Iron Byron was one of his nick names and 1945 dubbed the greatest year of golf as a result. IRON FORTY FIVE logo could be STRONG IRON with a softer "forty-five" the food. like golf is traditional but constantly changing. The restaurant decor consists of dark woods and deep rich orange tone. service ware is of cast iron and other metals.

awesome, very talented thank you. I'm not sure if my previous comment posted.. I do not see it here. I intended to add golf, modern etc as a follow up to that. We like the use of 2 fonts, The size difference and the stacking of the words as well. The background color is nice and not something we had considered. Overall.. very good beginning

Would anyone happen to have any ideas as to how to incorporate an actual golf club.. Like a seven iron maybe or even just the shape of an iron.. possibly as the hyphen in forty-five. or if you can think of some way that would be relevant.

To keep confusion down for designers, can you please leave your design comments on the individual designers pages? Sometimes telling all the designers what you like about specific designs leads to other designers copying concepts (which is against our rules).

Wow- so impressed. I'm on my phone now and it will not let me comment to individuals. However we really love the intro of golf.. Now thinking of ways to fem it up a little to appeal to the wives and ladies at the club who are primarily interested in an upscale social and business gatherings. Great work! Will comment further soon!
