IrishTourist.comLogo Design Contest

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your great contributions so far! I am amazed by the number of high-quality submissions received so far. Please bear with me as I rank the entries, make some comments and clarify what it is I'm looking for.

Some initial feedback in general:

- I prefer the more "rectangular" logos rather than square ones -- those with the icon/graphic to the left/within the IrishTourist.com.
- Re the colours, my earlier request for blues are probably a throwback to an earlier focus on Dublin -- as it's an Irish website for tourists, green should be the dominant colour. I do like the way many of you have worked blues and oranges in.

I'll be back to make some more specific comments and provide feedback on particular logos in the next few hours.

If anyone has any ideas moving away from a shamrock theme towards perhaps a more general travel theme, I'd be curious to see what you can come up with.

Thank you all for your ideas and submissions! I am really getting excited over several of the entries and am not looking forward to having to make tough final decisions!

Just to clarify what I seem to be favouring at the moment:-- I would like my company name to be reasonably large relative to whatever graphics, in particular I would prefer graphics smaller-and-to-the-left in preference to larger-and-above
